Gianna Davy received her ballet training at the Oakland Ballet Academy. She was offered an apprentice contract with the Oakland Ballet Company at age thirteen and joined full time when she was eighteen. Gianna has also danced for the State Street Ballet, Smuin Ballet of San Francisco and is currently a member of Company C whose repertoire is contemporary dance. She has had the honor of dancing many principal and soloist roles in classical, contemporary and modern ballets. In addition to dancing and performing, Gianna has directed rehearsals for Robert Moses Kin, a modern company based in SF. She has an extreme passion for teaching, children, and dancing alike. She has been teaching for four years now and believes in pushing every child to their maximum potential in a creative and nurturing manner. Gianna is a regular guest artist for the San Francisco Youth Ballet Theatre.
