Bryn comes to SFYBA from the University of Arizona where she received a degree in Creative Writing and Dance. Her primary ballet training is from Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education. She also studied at the Beijing Dance Academy , China in ballet, character and chinese folk dance. She most recently trained with the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Summer Lee Rhatigan. She has performed various roles in "The Nutcracker", "Romeo & Juliet," and "La Bayadere," and a number of Balanchine ballets including "Serenade." Her original cheoragraphy "Calm after the Storm" was selected for performance in 2003 in Arizona for the Emerging Choreographer's Night showcase. Bryn is a member of the modern dance company CAPACITOR and is an apprentice for Napoles Ballet Theatre, the resident ballet company at SFYBA. Bryn has just relocated to San Francisco with her fiancé and SFYBA welcomes her as its newest instructor in 2008. |
