Asel is of Russian and Kyrgz nationality. She attended the Kyrgz National Academic Ballet Theater in the Kyrgyz Republic for two years as a dancer and The Ballet Schools under Kyrgyz National Academic Ballet Theater for three years as a teacher. Here in San Francisco she has choreographed for the Presidio Dance Theater. Her Classical repertoire include: Le Corsaire, La Bayadere, Bahchisaraiskii Fountain, Don Quixote, Giselle, Raymonda, Nutcraker, Paquita and Swan Lake. She is Excited to join the SFYBA group.
