Napoles Ballet Theatre is a non profit organization that was established in 2007. NBT's projects are composed of a mixture of modern ballet and Afro Cuban roots. These works are said to be very inventive, using surreal imagery and powerful drama that can be interpreted as avant-garde. NBT is one of the newest dance companies in the bay area. LUIS NAPOLES is a Professional Ballet Dancer, Choreographer, Master Teacher of Cuban Contemporary Modern Dance, and Afro-Cuban Dance. Luis' broad knowledge of an eclectic range of movement styles has served the company well, and he has distinguished himself in both classical and contemporary ballet .
Previously a principal dancer with Sacramento Ballet (1997-2004), Oakland Ballet, City Berkeley Ballet (1994-1995), Ballet Theatre of Havana (1991-1993), and Contemporary Dance of Cuba (1983-1991)

NBT & SFYBA

NBT offers apprenticeship to graduates of SFYBA. NBT choreographers and dancers frequently offer master classes to SFYBA students in contemporary ballet, choreography, modern and multi-cultural dance styles. For more information on the next master class event please call 415-731-2237
