Marika Brussel was born and raised in New York City. She trained on scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School and danced with the Joffrey Concert Group. She also trained with Francis Patrelle and at the High School of Performing Arts. Last year with Ballet Theater of New Mexico, she performed the role of Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Odile in Swan Lake. She has been a guest artist with numerous dance companies across the country, including the Alameda Ballet and Moving Arts Dance. She is currently a member of our resident company Napoles Ballet Theatre.
